This one is for the men in your life. Husband, boyfriend, sons, friends….

For many years I worked for a great guy, whom we affectionally called ‘Commander’. And to this day I continue to call him ‘My Friend’.

I have often spoken of ‘dress for the job you want’ / ‘dress how you want to be addressed.’ If you want to one day be the boss, dress as you would IF you were the boss. Well, this is one boss who knew how to dress!

What made his clothing especially notable, was that there was no way they were straight off the rack!! Everything he wore, every single day, had been tailored specifically for his body. Even on the day when the entire office was packing for a move – there he was, in a pair of dark wash jeans with a perfectly fitted golf shirt.

Now keep in mind that a proper fit involves more than just altering the sleeve length (or width).  If the shirt is to be worn untucked, make sure it is not too long.

So it came as no surprise, when it came to ordering ‘company shirts’ , alterations were included’.

The man has style!
