I wasn’t even looking…they found me. You see I can not walk past Browns Shoes without popping in. Especially when there is a SALE!
I tried them on while whispering “please don’t fit, please don’t fit”, knowing full well, that Michael Kors size 35 are like my glass slipper. And these leather beauties were no exception.
I have ‘3 rules’ when shopping: – do I love it? – does it flatter me? – 3 ways I can wear it. Two requirements were immediately ‘checked’, the third would take some thought.
First dress that came to mind was this silky kimono,
which I normally wear with my ‘gold stripper shoes’, which also happen to be Michael Kors.
Next is skinny white jeans, with this oh so soft cashmere slouchy sweater. Paired with a strand of pearls and a blush colored clutch, this would make for a great outfit for a ‘Damas lunch’.
A third styling would require a little more thought….
While I normally wear my maxi tea house dress (which is probably the oldest item in my closet) with flats, these beauties would take it a whole new level!
Then there is also my Hibiscus dress. And this silk stripped slip dress.
Oh the possibilities for these beauties are endless…
