The past few years I have made it my mission to strictly shop 2nd Hand (thrift), and purchase only what I NEED.
Two weeks ago, I came across this Lord & Taylor puffer vest at ‘Signatures by Ellen’ (on Goulet Street in Winnipeg) for a mere $20!
What drew me to it, besides the obvious tangerine color, was the double zipper and the lightness of it. Being a petite woman, a puffer is often too much volume for my frame, which made this thrifted item an even bigger score!
When I purchased it, I knew I had several coats and jackets that could easily have their season extended simply by adding this additional layer.
However, once I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to find it would (possibly) work with even more…
Given my extensive scarf collection, (which is continuously growing) I’ll be able to find multiple options to reduce the ‘halloween vibe’ when paired with black.
Bonus points will be awarded, IF I can pack it into the bag along with this blue puffer jacket. How GREAT would that be for traveling!

The cost per wear factor on this Tangerine vest is incalculable. Not only does it add warmth, it also brings the ‘Wow Factor’ to some very, very old coats.
