Are any of you like me? When I see some of the Instagram posts for ‘Closets : before & after’, all I can think is ‘Why SO Much stuff??”

I do admit however; when the apparent budget of the ‘after’ would buy a new car, or the size is larger than where one would park that new car, I think “So that is how one hides SO Much stuff in a Personal Dressing Room’.

Regardless of budget or size, all clothing needs two things; Air circulation between items, and easy access (both for choosing outfits AND maintaining order). Something most of the above closets and PDRs do not seem to have.

When tackling any space, the first order of business should be to PURGE. Or at the very least, remove unused items, so they are not taking up your valuable closet space.

Not surprisingly when you give your hanging garments room to breathe, they instantly become more accessible.

With all the reorganizing people have been doing during the pandemic, hopefully many of you have been able to get a handle on your clothes closet. If not, perhaps I can help…
